  Please Pray

Please pray for the mother who sits at home wondering if her son is safe.

  Please pray for the wife who sits by the phone wondering why her husband hasn't called.

Please pray for the girlfriend who cuddles up to a pillow body that feels nothing like her man.

Please pray for the daughter who doesn't understand where her daddy has gone.

 Please Lord, give them the greatness to stay strong.

Please pray for the father who has to be brave when he says goodbye to his daughter.

Please pray for the husband who can't get things right "like mummy did".

 Please pray for the boyfriend who feels empty inside without her by his side.

 Please pray for the son who just wants a hug from his mummy.

 Please Lord, give them the greatness to stay strong.

Please pray for the soldiers,

Soldiers who are out in a land they don't know or understand.

Soldiers who are away from their loved ones for weeks and months.

Soldiers who line up just to hear your voice for a couple of minutes on a crackly line.

Soldiers who are scared when they hear the shots and explosions going off around them.

Soldiers who live to see a letter with handwriting that they know.

Soldiers who know their loved ones are being strong, behind them all the way.

Soldiers who just want to go home.

Soldier who fight, long and hard.

Soldiers who are heroes.

Please Lord, give them the greatness to stay strong.

Protect them and be their shield.

Let them all come home, safe and sound.
